The Antiques Road Show

Rooting through the dusty storerooms at the back of the Weddel Swift offices a treasure was unearthed this week. Hiding beneath long forgotten documents and unused stationery was the old Weddel and Co. GMBH sign. The solid brass sign had, in another life, elegantly adorned the entrance to the Weddel & Co. offices in Hamburg founded in the early part of the 20^th century.

The brass plate was obviously in a state of disrepair after many years of neglect, but a tin of basso and a day’s hard labour brought it back to it’s former glory. Now we just have to work out where to put it.
